About Hotel
A beautiful stone building guarded with cobbled pathway, carpet
grass and multicoloured
flowers...this is Country Inn Tree Tops Resort for you. Donning
a clean look, you are greeted in the open reception with a
flight of stairs taking you through many beautiful plants and
flowers to the cottages. During your brief wait at the
reception, you can look around to find many interesting
things almost hidden from your purview. In a small nook above
the reception lies the souvenir shop, a cute little nest with
multi ferrous displays like t-shirts, tiger stuffed toys, books
and journals on the Corbett Reserve and wildlife. Observe some
more and you'll find the gallery on the right with the walls
laden with images of the rare wild life species found in the
forest reserve.
Location
The Country Inn Tree Tops is located on Garjia Road outlining
the Corbett Forest Reserve about 11 kms from Ramnagar, the
nearest town. The railhead at Ramnagar is 11 kms away, while
Pantnagar airport is 120 kms away from the resort. The entry
gates of the Forest Reserve of Bijrani and Jhirna are 7 and 35
kms away from the resort.
Rooms
With a total of 20 rooms divided across Deluxe rooms, Suites
and Cottages and one Tree House, Country Inn Tree Tops offers a
pleasant variety in terms of decor, feel and views. The service
and facilities in all rooms are similar. The Deluxe rooms
located on the ground floor of the main building adorn a clean
look with a chic finish. With stone walls in part, a wood like
finished floor and asymmetrical wooden furniture in plenty, the
rooms look big. Every room in the resort has a telephone,
satellite television, air conditioner, blower, seating
arrangement, tea and coffee maker and drinking water in the
room. The guests are greeted with complimentary fruit basket and
cookies and welcome drink as well. The washroom is in sync with
the theme of the room with stone floors and bright walls.
The Suite is a bigger room with two attached rooms; the
first housing a bed and a wardrobe, which can also be used for a
double stay and the second housing the air conditioner, study
table and storage area. The main room encompasses the bed, sofa
chairs, satellite television, luggage rack etc. The bathroom is
similar to that of the Deluxe room with facilities like
moisturiser, soap, shower cap, shampoo, shower cubicle, phone,
towels. The hot water supply is taken care of by the boiler
plant installed in the hotel.
The Cottages are a class apart with stone floors and a
partition to segregate the drawing and bed room. The cottages
are semi circular in shape with the same facilities as the Suite
room and a balcony that takes you further to a quaint looking
open stone fireplace with a circle of chairs around it. The
beauty of the surrounding lawn combined with the flowers and the
resounding sound of the river close by alternating with the
humming of the honey bees, just makes this an
unforgettable experience. The Tree House is like a concrete nest
almost resting on the branch of a tree. With a massive wooden
door unveiling countless winding stairs to some unknown place,
you feel like you are a part of some fairy tale! The first and
second curves of the Tree House accommodate the washroom, while
the third curve houses the bedroom.
Dining
A humongous thatched rooftop in the centre of the lawn not very
easy to miss stands as the restaurant serving mouth watering
Indian, Chinese, Continental and Tandoori cuisine. Circling the
periphery of the restaurant with wooden chairs and tables, the
restaurant or the Gol Ghar as it is popularly called is open for
breakfast, lunch and dinner.
Services & Facilities
The resort provides the ultimate comfort in the wilderness. In
terms of facilities too, the resort offers swimming pool,
Jacuzzi, massage parlour, play area for kids, an Activity room
with provision for table tennis, carom and a billiards table. A
beautiful bonfire place has been especially created for those
chilly nights during winters. That and a guitarist performing
live in the premises with a couple of drinks have created some
memorable instances for the guests. Besides this, the resort
arranges for safaris to either Dhikala, Bijrani or the Jhirna
gate, the three entry points for tourists into the Corbett
Forest Reserve.
