Nature Heritage Resort is at the heart of
Bandhavgarh,Bandhavgarh set amongst the Vindhya Hills of Madhya
Pradesh with an area of 437 sq. km Bandhavgarh was established
in 1968, these, rich forest served as the Shikharghar for the
maharaja of Rewa. Bandhavgarh has been the centre of human
activity for over 2000 years. The legendary epic Ramayana
mentions Laxmana Brother of King Rama who hold the title of
"Lord of the Fort". This mighty fort has its cliffs almost 1000
ft above the country side imposing status of lord Vishnu in his
different re-incarnations and a unique 35 foot reclining status
known as " Shesh Shaya" are also seen in the Park. Extensively
rich in its Flora and Fauna the moist deciduous Bandhavgarh
forest is covered by Sal trees, on the upper slopes it is
replaced by mixed deciduous forests. Towards its north there are
large stretches of bamboo and open grasslands.
We welcome photographers and wildlife film makers to our resort
which will offer every kind of help to make your trip a success.
Our tiger expert who has more than ten years experience in
tracking tigers will be of help. Lay down the gun ! pick up the
camera ! shoot ! the moment lives !The animals live! So pick up
your camera and come to the jungle.
Accommodation
Luxury in the arms of nature awaits you! The 22 air condition
elegantly furnished luxury cottages with personal verandah will
certainly bond you for lifetime with us. The balcony of the
cottages overlooks the marvelous and gigantic hills of the
Vindhyanchal range. Attached Bathrooms, running hot & cold water
and all modern amenities. Multi cuisine restaurant serving
variety of dishes for both vegetarian & non vegetarian taste.
Village poultry & vegetable straight from neighboring farms add
to your appetite.
Open and thatched roof restaurant where Breakfast & lunch is
served. Morning tea can be ordered in your room.
When you come back from morning safari there is running hot/cold
water in the attached luxurious bathrooms. Breakfast is served
in the restaurant. Lunch can be enjoyed in the open chirping
birds and bright sunlight. Evenings are more relaxed with
bonfire and discussions followed by a lavish dinner.
We have a 24 hrs power backup with a stand by generator.
Adapters are provided in all the cottages for easy connectivity
of your electrical gadgets. Few more interesting things to do
during the day, includes a drive upto the ancient Bandhavgarh
fort, a walk to the Baghel museum, a guided walk into a typical
Indian village "Tala", nature walks, trip to Chenchpur
waterfalls and a host of other activities like an in-house
library, some indoor games are also available to relax and
unwind within your comfortable resort. After the delicious lunch
you again would like to go back to the Jungle, to trace the
Tiger or the beautiful birds of Bandhavgarh. By now we assure
