on the border of Kanha National Park, home to India's
majestic tigers and numerous mammals, reptiles and bird
species. The luxury property is surrounded by the park's
jungles and traditional tribal villages in the Mandla
district of Madhya Pradesh, a central Indian state.

Location
The Baagh Resort at Kanha is adjacent to Kanha National Park
and is accessible through the Mukki Gate of the park, just
three miles away. It is located in the Mandla district of
Madhya Pradesh. The resort ranges over an area of 20 acres
amidst sal, Mahua, and Saja trees, with breathtaking views
of the valley. Nearby tribal villages and hills encircle the
beautiful and tranquil grounds.
Accommodation
The Baagh Resort at Kanha we have gone to great lengths to
make your stay a memorable one. Here among the wilds of
India we offer 24 well-appointed rooms among eight
residential complexes. Each room has open balconies or
private patio areas with a view of the jungle. It's the
perfect place to sip a morning cup of tea and watch the
sunrise over this exotic land or relax with a glass of wine
after a day spotting tigers in the jungle.
Each tastefully decorated room features sumptuous Indian
textiles, locally handcrafted furniture, luxury bed linens
and bath towels, a spacious marble bathroom with shower and
separate tub, hairdryer, dressing area, sitting area, and
writing desk. Rooms have solar heat, air-conditioning, and
fans. Laundry services are available.

The spacious restaurant offers rustic charm with handcrafted
Burmese teak furniture, and a handsome separate bar for

Our cuisine ranges from traditional and innovative Indian
specialties to Western favorites prepared with locally grown
produce and specialty items from our on-site organic

nature, Indian wildlife, birds, Indian culture and a

hot oil Shirodhara treatment, designed to rejuvenate and

Take a leisurely walk around the resort. The grounds are
thoughtfully landscaped to incorporate the natural beauty of

traditional chhatris (pillared dome-shaped pavillions),
thousands of native plants, rose gardens, colorful lantana,
as well as papaya, mango, sweet lime, and lemon trees. The
organic garden produces fresh ingredients for the resort's
chefs.
